LEGIC - Access Card Readers

LEGIC is a leading supplier of advanced 13.56 MHz contactless smart card technology, which is recognised around the world for its use in personal identification systems. As a LEGIC partner, Nortech offers a range of readers for use with LEGIC high-security contactless smart cards.

LEGIC supplies this technology in the form of components for credentials and readers. The LEGIC product portfolio includes highly integrated LEGIC RF Standard, ISO 15693 and ISO 14443 compliant read/write chip sets, security modules and transponder chips. Nortech integrates the LEGIC components into its readers, while card manufacturers integrate LEGIC components into cards and fobs. Together the LEGIC system is a powerful, secure all-in-one-card platform.
Nortech can provide you with a bespoke card reading solution by combining and adapting LEGIC security features to meet your individual requirements. If you already use LEGIC credentials, Nortech may be able to enable you to use them for access control applications.
LEGIC cards allow operators to increase efficiency through having a single credential for all smart card applications, simplifying business processes while maximizing comfort for employees or guests.  Nortech’s access control function can be combined with up to 126 other applications, independently supplied by other LEGIC vendors. These applications may include time & attendance, parking, cashless payments (e.g. cafeterias or vending machines), IT-access or e-tickets.
The card data within Nortech’s access control segment on the LEGIC card is encrypted and protected by a Master-Token.  The Master-Token is a special physical and contactless smart card that contains a unique genetic code that provides a secure link between cards and readers. The Master-Token is required for creating new credentials and authorising new readers within your security system. This does not affect the use of the cards for other applications.
LEGIC presented its prime products for the first time at CeBIT 1992. Ever since then LEGIC prime has been established like a proven technology. Much like the other LEGIC brands, LEGIC prime utilizes a industry standard frequency of 13.56 MHz.
LEGIC prime is trusted in access control related applications for example multi application cards, in large-scale ticketing projects or even in the leisure industry. Easier organizational processes and also to improve the convenience are thereby the attention.
Legic MIM256 and Legic MIM1024 frequently used types of Prime series. LEGIC mim utilizes a industry standard frequency of 13.56 MHz.
Prime series chip premiered in 1992 by LEGIC, that is a extremely high reliability line non-contact card chip, since it has not been cracked and there is no compatible chip thus far. And then we can
begin to see the high security from the products. The memory of LEGIC MIM256 is 256byte, and
the LEGIC MIM1024 is 1024byte. These chips are fully compliant with ISO 14443 F standard.
